At the age of seventeen he fled Majd the war violence in Syria. Determined to pursue his dreams, he learned Dutch, got his diploma HBO Architecture and then completed a master's degree at TU Delft. 'I gave everything to make my dream come true.'
At the age of seventeen, Homa Forced to marry and isolated from the world, she fled to the Netherlands with her son, determined to determine her own life. 'I experience helping myself as enormous freedom.' After years of struggle and study, Homa has completed two masters and is now working on her dream: researching women's rights.
After fleeing war-torn Syria, Braaha starting all over again. Within eight months, she learned Dutch and followed her dream of becoming a doctor, despite great adversity. 'I want to participate in life and be an important player.' Today, Braaha is a doctor, mother and a source of inspiration to many.
After fleeing Ethiopia, where his friends were arrested after protests, Tadele in the Netherlands his life again. Despite PTSD and the care for his family, he successfully completed his master's degree at Wageningen University. He is now working on his PhD research in sustainable food production.
