Modular services
In 2019, we switched to a modular approach that fits in with the (various) needs of students and professionals. Almost all modules can be combined and therefore many more (short) routes are possible. This allows for more customization and increases the impact.
Through our service in modules we are able to offer with as much financial resources to guide more refugees in the long term. Also offers modular working the possibility to respond flexibly to changes in society.
Results modular services
There did 1.523 refugees appealed to the UAF for support. We could 1.080 honor requests. These students and professionals started with a modular coaching program that matches their talents and ambitions.
We had an average of 3.220 refugees in guidance who together follow 4.001 guidance modules.
An overview of our modules
Almost all guidance modules offered by the UAF can be combined. This makes many different (short) routes possible. This diagram shows the results per type of module. Some modules span the calendar year. This explains the difference between taken and completed modules. By 'successful' we mean that the student or professional has taken an important step in his or her development, on the way to a suitable education or job.
Purpose
Successfully studying in secondary vocational education (level 3 or 4) or higher education. Equipped to move forward on your own.

Purpose
Successfully completing a dual or part-time training program mbo- or
hbolevel, resulting in a diploma, relevant work experience and a paid job.

Purpose
Insight into the labor market, equipped to independently follow a training course, internship
or find a job that matches your own background, experience and ambition.

Networking activities with employers, career guidance in the initial phase of a new job.

Purpose
Optimally prepared for completing the national assessment for foreign healthcare professionals (doctors, dentists, pharmacists and nurses).

Information and advice, financial support. Step-by-step plan to prepare for the assessment, networking opportunities and mentoring.

Completed modules: 82, from what 73% successful
Purpose
Expand network, guidance with study orientation, buddy during the first year of study, improving application skills, support in preparing for the medical assessment.
UAF offer
Recruit volunteers with relevant knowledge and experience. Information meetings, training and interviews organize for mentor couples.

Optimally prepared for the State Exam NT2 level II (entrance requirement for higher education), a study or a job.
