Make the difference with a Named Fund
With a Named Fund you invest in the development of knowledge and talent of refugee students and professionals. Partly thanks to these special gifts, we guide an average of almost four thousand refugees per year to a sustainable place in the labor market. Take Ammar, for example, who secured a permanent job at NS thanks to his participation in the work-study program that we developed in collaboration with Fontys University of Applied Sciences. Become part of the UAF
Do you want to support our work for a longer period of time or do you have a specific goal in mind for which you want to make money available? Then a Named Fund is for you. With a Named Fund you start, as it were, your own foundation, but then under the flag of the UAF. You provide the resources, we ensure that the money ends up in the right place. Handy, because this way you relieve yourself of all obligations that come with the establishment of a foundation, such as an administration, the appointment of a board and so on. You can set up a named fund from 50.000 euros.
How does a named fund work?
It's very simple: you decide in consultation with your regular contact person for what you want to make money available and how much, you choose your own name for the fund, and we take care of the rest. A named fund is a visible part of the UAF: donations from your fund are stated in our annual report and in the annual accounts.
What are the advantages of a named fund?
- In addition to the fact that with a named fund you decide for yourself which UAF projects you support, with a named fund you ensure continuity.
- We keep you informed of developments and involve you closely in the projects you support.
- Even after the death of the initiator(s), we can provide support to the assigned projects from a named fund.
- A named fund can be included in a will. In that case we do not pay any inheritance tax on the inheritance allocated to us.
- Because we have an ANBI status, donations to the UAF, also via a named fund, are in many cases tax-deductible.
